Amber J. Anderson is an Ohio-based artist who creates photographic-based work centered on themes of memory, mystery, and intimacy. Using a combination of contemporary and historical processes, fabricated and authentic settings, and often blurring the line between fact and fiction, her work asks viewers to reflect on the subjective nature of history. She is inspired by obscure technology, historical sites, strange phenomena, rural landscapes, and classic literature.
